Open Design Italia and Ottagono curated the exhibition mounting of the five winners of the 2012 edition of Open Design Italia, highlighting the making processes and the synergies between the designers and the world of craftsmen and small enterprises. Federica Bubani, Perlamdredesign, Piquattropunto, Paolo Vallara and Andrea Zausa brought semi-finished self-produced products to show the public the production phases. The purpose was to spur a direct exchange on the value added of both the products and the alternative making processes, halfway between micro-enterprises and craftsmanship.
