Manufacto: Italian craftsmanship excellence and design
Resign Academy, in collaboration with Subalterno1 gallery and the online platform “Autoproduzioni Italiane”, presents Manufacto, a workshop cycle aimed at investigating the productive potential for design of Italian craftsmanship excellence. The first stage will be in Milan from the 15th to 17th of November2013 at the “Fonderia Artistica Battaglia”, in order to get in touch with the production possibilities and the properties of bronze. Lectures held by Stefano Maffei and Andrea Gianni on the self-production world and by Stefano Caggiano on the language of design will follow. During the following days, Magnani & Delvecchio, together with the Sovrappensiero Studio will accompany the participants in the definition of a project concept. At the end of the three days, Subalterno1 will select a project, fund its production and put it on sale on the online store autoproduzioniitaliane.it
