15 | Aude | Roma | Italy
Bio
The idea of Aude was born from the meeting of designer Francesca Di Croce and woodworker Francesco Cremonini, with the collaboration of the sculptor Paolo Frattari. The name comes from the imperative form of the Latin verb “audeo” which means “dare, be brave!”. The acronym itself stands for what the founders, a designer and a woodworker, do: self-produced design objects in which converge a wise selection of materials and sought-after techniques.
Self-production is:
The combination of know-how and design skills in a new vision of design, where participation enhances both sides of the knowledge and helps to create quality projects.
