Atelier di Cucina is characterized by strong craftsmanship and passion for design. It started from a collaboration between architects Giulio Dario Marchesi and Valerio Panella, very active supporters of self-production as opposed to mass production, who create projects combining manual skills, raw materials and the most innovative production techniques.

OBJECT IDENTITY CARD
Pila
Pila is the name, inspired by ancient times, of a kitchen floor that brings together two very useful tools: the cutting board and the mortar. The essential geometric shapes and the different materials communicate well to create an excellent formal and functional balance.

Solid oak wood, from Italy. Sphere polished with stainless steel for alimentary use

Manufacturing process
Planed wood, smoothed and cut in the final shape. Subsequently, we cut a cavity on the wood with CNC milling machinery, within which the polished sphere will be allocated.
