03 | Defacts + Henry&co | Lecco | Italy
Bio
Defacts was created by graphic designer Fabio Dodesini, who is more an advertiser than a graphic designer, invented and patented the sock that all Italians call “fantasmino”.
With the architect and children’s furniture designer Lucia Berti from Lecco and with the designers members of Henry&Co, met during Open Design Italia 2013, Alex Crestan and Francesco Trubian from Verona, they are now working togheter on special projects, always looking for new types and cross-cutting areas of the market, of which Salvamacchia is an example.
Self-production is:
“Chi si loda si sbroda” (lit. if you brag you get dirty) … It’s about being fed with ideas and mix with the ingredients: communication, entertainment, marketing, production, social media … protecting yourself with the napkin of politeness: the Eatshoot!
OBJECT IDENTITY CARD
Salvamacchia Eatshoot
An unobstrusive napkin: it doesn’t lay on the chest of the tablemates but stands as a shield between them and the “dangerous dish”. Eatshoot is also a communication medium that characterizes the flow of the restaurant in an original way. It is a cheap alternative to the expensive and intrusive napkin.
